Selection Test (JNVST) ‑ 2012:
The selection test for the
Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, is conducted every year in the
month of February by the navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti
(Admission cell) New Delhi. The test is normally held on
Sunday between 10 to 12 noon in all the district of the
country except N.E. region and places of high altitudes of
Himachal Pradesh, Jamuu Kashmir etc. Where it is held in
the month of may. These tests are conducted at the Distt.
Level.
Eligibility Criteria For All
Candidates In The District:
a. Only candidates
from the districts the JNV has been opened are eligible to
apply for admission.
b. A candidate appearing for
the selection test must be studying in class V for the
whole of the academic session 2002‑2003 in a Govt. aided,
or other recognized school in the same district where
he/she is seeking admission. A school will be deemed
recognized if it is declared so by the Govt. or by the an
agency authorized by the Govt. A candidate must
successfully complete class V in the session 2003‑2004.
Actual admission in the class VI for the session 2003‑2004
will be subject to the condition.
C.
(i)
A candidate must have studied and passed class III IV. V
from a recognized school or schools. in the session
2001‑2002 2002‑2003, 2003‑2004 respectively spending one
full academic session (without any repletion of class gap
and / or break in attendance ) in each class through the
formal system of education.
(ii) A candidate who was not
promoted in to class V before NOV.2003 is not eligible to
apply.
(iii) No candidate is
eligible to appear in the selection test second time ,
under any circumstances.
